A metal roof fails from the edges inwards. Where the sheets overlap, the cut edges are exposed and rust from the inside out. Left alone, that corrosion spreads under the coating, lifts whole panels and turns a small repair into a re-roof. Most of the roofs we treat could have been saved for a fraction of the cost a year or two earlier.

We maintain profiled metal roofs on factories, warehouses and commercial units: leak repairs, gutter replacement and cleaning, cut edge corrosion treatment and full roof coating systems. For clients who want to stay ahead of it, we carry out annual inspections and give you a written report of what needs doing and when.

How the job runs.

  1. Inspect

    We survey the roof, gutters and laps, photograph the problem areas and tell you what is urgent and what can wait.

  2. Treat

    Corroded edges are stripped back to sound metal, treated and sealed so the rust stops returning.

  3. Repair

    Leaks, failed laps, damaged sheets and worn gutters are repaired or replaced.

  4. Coat

    Where the roof needs it, a protective coating system is sprayed over the whole surface, extending its life by years.

  5. Report

    You get a record of what was done and, if you want it, a maintenance schedule so nothing is missed.
