Roller shutters take more punishment than any other part of a commercial building. Sun, rain, forklifts and daily use leave them faded, scratched and rusting at the edges long before the shutter itself has worn out. Replacing one is expensive and means a day with the unit open to the weather. Spraying gives you a clean, hard wearing finish in the colour you want, with the shutter still doing its job.
We spray shutters, personnel doors, fire exits, window frames, flashings and trims on industrial units, retail units, loading bays and reception entrances. On many jobs we do the shutters and the cladding in the same visit, so the whole elevation comes back in one go.

How the job runs.
Survey
We check the condition of each shutter and door, note any corrosion or damage and agree the colour with you.
Prep
Old flaking paint and surface rust are stripped back and treated. A sound surface is what the new coating bonds to.
Mask
Surrounding cladding, brickwork, signage and the ground are protected so the colour goes exactly where it should.
Spray
Primer and topcoat applied with controlled spray equipment for an even, factory style finish with no brush marks.
Hand over
We inspect the finish, remove the masking and leave the unit ready to trade.

Yes. Shutters are sprayed in place. We mask the surround and spray the shutter in a position that lets us reach every slat, then run it to check the finish.
Not when the right coating is used and the prep is done properly. We use coatings made for metal that flexes, and we do not spray over loose paint or rust, which is what causes failures on cheap jobs.
Yes, and it is often the best value way to do it. One visit, one set of access equipment, and the whole elevation comes back in matching or contrasting colours.
Very little. We plan around your deliveries and opening hours, and where a shutter has to stay in use we work around it or come outside your hours.
