The short answer
A sprayed cladding finish carries a warranty from the coating manufacturer as well as from us. Cladding systems are typically ten years, roof systems fifteen years and up, and premium options up to twenty five years. The exact cover for your building is confirmed in writing with your quote.
Who gives the warranty
Two different things get called a warranty on a spraying job. One is the contractor standing behind their own workmanship. The other is the coating manufacturer standing behind the product that goes on the building. Our coatings are backed by manufacturer warranties, so the cover comes from the company that makes the coating system, and the system itself is matched to the surface of your building.
It is worth knowing which of the two you are being offered before you compare quotes, because a number of years only means something once you know who stands behind it.
How long the cover runs
The length depends on which part of the building is being coated and which system is specified for it. We match the primer and topcoat to the surface underneath, whether that is plastisol, PVF2, fibre cement or bare metal, and each system carries its own term.

Preparation is what makes a warranty worth having
A coating sprayed over dirt, chalk or loose rust fails early however good the paint is. That is why the cleaning, the corrosion treatment and the panel repairs come before any coating goes on, and why they are never skipped on our jobs. That preparation is part of every job we price.
So when you compare quotes, compare the preparation each one includes as well as the price and the years.
What you get in writing
Every job is priced from a free site survey, and the paperwork that comes back to you sets out the price, the timescale and the exact warranty for your building. Nothing about the cover is left as a verbal promise, and you have it before you commit to anything.
Questions worth asking any cladding sprayer

- Is the warranty from the coating manufacturer, or only from the contractor?
- How many years, and does it cover the roof as well as the walls?
- What preparation is included before the coating goes on?
